Brain-training games and regular computer games which one can ameliorate thinking skills beastly?
Kable & al (2017) at the University of Pennsylvanie have examinated the popular Luminosity brain-training program from Lumos Labs in San Francisco, California, versus computer games (128 young healthy volunteers adults)
Computer games allow to learning, they help the subject to be adaptive, improve executive functions such as memory, attention.. On the contrary, Brain-training games Kable & al showed that they were purely for entertainment.
The experiment was realized using a standard battery of cognitive tests and brain imaging scans, before and after the 10-week period (test 1 & test 2).
